Hola mis amigos en Mixxer,
En la proxima semana empezaré mi tercer semestre de español en la universidad local. En inglés este tipo de "universidad" se llama "community college" pero no creo que hay este tipo de escuela en otros países. Es una escuela donde cualquier persona puede asistir clases en cualquier sujeto. No tiene que solicitar con notas buenas--simplemente paga un cuota escolar muy pequeño y toma las clases.
El nivel es intermedio, pero hay muchos estudiantes y no hay mucho tiempo a practicar la conversación. Pues, Mixxer es un solución ideal. Ahora hablo con un amigo en Argentina cada semana. Su inglés es más mejor de mi español, pero nos enseñamos modismos, frases, la cultura y mucho mas.
Ojalá que utilicemos estos blogs y Skype para nos ayudamos en español y inglés.

Myself, a spanish girl

I'm here for learning english and teaching my spanish to everyone who is willing. I've been living in Ireland for a while, inside of a different culture, with a language that I didn't manage at all and all on my own. And of course, it was the best experience ever. I met a multicultural cluster of people from all over the world. And I learnt a thing at least from each one of them. Besides the things I learnt from the family I was living with. I was looking after three girls, ages from 5 to 12, and they were such lovely girls. Irish people are very welcoming, you can have an improvised chat in the bus stop or having a guiness in a random pub. All in all, it was a great experience.
Now, being back to Spain, I miss so much my whole life there. I even miss the rain. Currently, I'm studying a master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention at college. And I might be apllying for an internship next october, maybe in the UK, I haven't made my mind yet.
I love reading. And I found out that I enjoy it even more in English. My favourite book from my childhood has always been The Neverending Story. I love imaginary worlds where everything might happens. My Irish older girl introduced me into the twilight's world and I've loved the whole saga ever since. The last book I've read was The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.
So, that's me, here I am, expecting you to start telling me about you, teaching each other and, why not? making new friends.

TV SHOWS
Una buena opción para mejorar la comprensión auditiva. Aunque parezca difícil, uno se va acostumbrando a ver los capítulos sin subtítulos.
Recomiendo mucho "How I Met Your Mother" El acento es bueno y se entiende. Sólo hay que pulsar y ver.
